Believe Again… Even Now

Can I still trust Him when I don't understand what He's doing?

I am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25

Our hope is found in who Jesus is.

Lord, your dear friend is very sick. John 11:3

So, although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, he stayed where he was for the next two days. John 11:5-6

We don’t follow a God who is unmoved by our pain.

Faith isn't about pretending we don't have questions.

It's about knowing we can bring those questions to Jesus.

But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask. John 11:22

My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Matthew 26:39 NLT

Your brother will rise again. John 11:23

Yes…He will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day. John 11:24

"I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?" John 11:25-26

Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible. John 11:39

Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe? John 11:40

Lazarus, come out! John 11:43

He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. Isaiah 25:8 NLT

Our hope isn't ultimately found in what Jesus might do.

It's found in who He is.

Even now, I believe Jesus is who He says He is.

Even now, I believe He is faithful in every season, present in every storm, and powerful in every circumstance.

Even now, I trust His character, even when I don't understand His ways.

Even now, I believe He is the resurrection and the life, and my hope is found in Him.

Even now, I choose to look to Jesus, follow Him, and believe in Him.
