All of You — A Call to Go Deeper

John 6:67-69

“Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

Jesus doesn’t want the filtered version of you — He wants all of you.

Discipleship isn’t performance; it’s surrender.

1. Are You Satisfied? (John 6:32-35)

• True satisfaction isn’t material — it’s spiritual.

• Jesus is the Bread of Life — our deepest hunger is for Him.

CS Lewis: “If we find ourselves with a desire nothing in this world can satisfy, we were made for another world.”

John Piper: “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”

• Satisfaction in Christ changes what we chase and how we live.

2. Are You Humble? (John 6:53-60, 61, 66)

• Many walked away when Jesus’ teaching offended their pride.

• He isn’t just Provider — He’s Lord.

• Humility means letting Scripture read you, not just reading it.

• Transformation begins when we surrender control.

3. Are You Committed? (John 6:67-70)

• True commitment means loving like Jesus.

Martin Luther: “God doesn’t need your good works, but your neighbour does.”

• Boundaries protect holiness and God’s mission — not selfishness.

Summary

• Jesus asks: Are you satisfied? Are you humble? Are you committed?

• He’s not after perfection — He’s after possession.

• The miracle starts when you stop rowing alone and let Him in your boat (John 6:19-21).

• Stay hungry. Stay humble. Stay committed. Give Him all of you.
