    Sean & Lynda Stanton

Sean Stanton and was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Called to ministry at the age of 18, he served faithfully in many areas of his church. In 1980, he responded to God's call to come overseas where doors opened in Ps. Frank Houston's church in Sydney. Upon becoming part of this vibrant congregation, Sean met his wife, Lynda (an Australian), whom he married in 1981. They have two adult children - Deborah, currently in Canberra, and Mark in Mt Isa, QLD with his lovely wife Emily. They are all enthusiastically serving God and their local church.

Sean was invited to join Ps. Frank Houston's team at Sydney Christian Life Centre in 1982. In 1985, this thriving church decided to start a church on the North Shore of Sydney. Sean and Lynda pastored North Shore Christian Life Centre for the next 11 years. During that time, God did many wonderful things, impacted many lives, and miraculously provided a building the church could call its own.

In 1996, Sean and Lynda sensed the Lord's leading that their time in Sydney had finished. God directed them to Brisbane where they pastored for nearly 2 years, before surprising them with a call to Canberra, and in particular, to this church.

Sean has a dynamic teaching, leadership and prophetic mantle resting on his life, as well as a passion to equip the local church to impact and influence their community and beyond. God has opened the door for Sean to pray with, build relationship, and speak into the lives of some of our nation's political leaders and influencers.

Lynda is a great motivator who desires to enthusiastically and creatively communicate the real issues of life from God's word, as well as see His supernatural creativity released in people's lives and situations. She is a firm believer in the power of prayer!

Sean and Lynda both desire that people have such a passion for worshipping God and 'living' (not just talking) His Word, that they have an awesome impact on those around them and beyond.
